This is the official app of Ironscout 2023The term Ironscout is the name for an annual scouting event that takes place in the fall for rovers, leaders and freelancers from the DPSG, BdP, VCP and PSG.In this event, scout groups from different regions of Germany compete against each other to complete a circular hike with stations in 22 hours of play.
The “Ironscout” is based on the legendary Ironman in Hawaii and is seen as a kind of long-distance running with simultaneous completion of relay positions.
Points are awarded for completing the post tasks and at the end the winner of the running teams is honored based on these points.The Ironscout was organized for the first time in the Swabian Alb in Salmendingen and the surrounding area under the motto “The ALBtraum has a name” in 1999 by the Hohenzollern district.
Since the first Ironscout, this concept has thrilled hundreds of scouts every year.
